El Nopal Cafe offers very authentic Mexico food. So delicious. I ordered sauteed cauliflower with dried pork and sautéed Hunan smoked pork with green leek. They were so good that almost made me cry. They tasted exactly like the dishes I had in China, specifically in Hunan. I will definitely mark this restaurant as my favorite and recommend my friends to come.
I came upon this restaurant after walking for an hour, very hungry and having had quite a terrible morning. They seated me quickly and gave me a tall glass of water and the menu. The lunch specials are all 10.95 (super affordable!) and give you enough food to feed yourself (I know the photo looks sparse, but I took it partway through eating!) The music they put on is lovely, and a volume gentle to the ears but enough that other parton’s chatter is background noise, and the food is quite literally the best I’ve had this year! It took my morning and turned it right around. I’m writing this review in the middle of my meal, but I know I will leave relaxed and ready to go on with my day. Thank you El Nopal Cafe! Made my day.
Super busy for a Sunday night. General tso chicken cooked perfectly. Spicy beef was delicious. Perfect blend of flavor and heat. I loved it. Nice portions. Popular with Asians. Yummy. Go to for consistent, fast, bad-for-you-but-tastes-good Mexico food,Very good and authentic modern Mexico food, small tightly pack Spartan space. No frills. No tipping!!! Bustling, in-eat-out kind of no nonsense atmosphere. Minimal drink options but endless food choices. Really good.
